an alternate universe Jason Todd - with the split from canon occurring during the "missing year" skipped over by One Year Later (preboot canon)
After recovering from getting a Batarang to the neck and the explosion he set off in an attempt to kill the Joker, Jason Todd eventually took on the Nightwing identity. Dick Grayson was not currently using the codename, as this was right after the "Infinite Crisis" event. He crossed paths with his childhood friend Eddie Bloomberg, after Eddie had just been rejected from participating in the Everyman Project. see companion account:gadgeteerdevil. The two eventually end up taking in other former Titans and Titans castoffs... though neither the fanfiction or RP has gotten to that point.
for simplicity's sake, he'll usually be played as a general 'New Earth era' Jason Todd

face-claim: Stephen Hoo (mun ascribes to the headcanon that Jason Todd is mixed race, a quarter Chinese)
